It has been quite a while since I took the time to make sure all my social sites were actually up to date. Seeing that this one's last journal entry dated back to pre-graduation days, it's only fair to show it some love. What's new? - Officially graduated with a BS in Biology and Biotechnology, with a minor in Visual Arts - Now in the process of assembling applications for lab positions and graduate programs in the biological sciences - Learned how to make insulation foam prop weaponry and toted a 6' sword about Otakon 20 as Saber Extra - Started expanding my line of amigurumi to include new genres, and began selling through a local comic sh

Things that are happening within the next two months, in some semblance of order - The first actual draft of my MQP's Introduction and Methodology are due - Gaming weekend (should be a 48-hour D&D marathon session) - Watching the Hunger Games movie - Anime Boston (at which I'll be sharing table 113 with the talented !SamandRaeCrafts (https://www.deviantart.com/samandraecrafts) in the AA)   - Making fleece hats (Kyubey, Charlotte, and maybe generic kitty ones)   - Crocheting amigurumi plushies (Kyubey, Charlotte, and maybe spare things for Sam)   - Patterning and assembling cosplay for said con (either fixing up Mami, or making Saber Extra) - Artist in Residence apprentic

Alrighty, so it's been a year since I updated this journal thing.  No big deal, right? Survived junior year at the tech school, watched far too much anime, did colorguard, did art, yadda yadda yadda. Summer's here already and my normal backup job is not really in need of any extra hands right now.  So, being an anime fan, I decided to try something different.  I'm trying to be a crafty person, actually following through on a Mami Tomoe cosplay from scratch for Otakon, and assembling some fleece hats to try selling online. (Hey, need to pay for the bus down to Baltimore somehow...) So yeah, that's my summer.  Drafting patterns, sewing, and

Heya, thanks for stopping by! :)
Thank you for the watch :)
Hey, is this the fellow Otakon Gofer who was involved in the Great Trail Mix Incident, blew up balloons for two hours on Friday, and patrolled the Art Show on Saturday? If so, this is Erin the blonde haired Gofer who wore silly t-shirts all Otakon weekend. I'm pretty sure I have the right DA account, especially because I see the Kodamas you mentioned you make. Hope I'm in the right place, let me know! :)
I received the Kodama in the mail the other day! His head wobbles all over the place, haha. Thanks for chatting at Anime Boston! I'll be sure to bring the little guy around with me when I cosplay as Princess Mononoke again :D
I received the hat I ordered today, and I just wanted to say it is absolutely wonderful ^^ Thank you so much for making these and I will definitely be buying from you again in the future!
Thanks for the :+fav:!
